Since 2005 Sonar Surround set the goal to make this unknown world audible in high-quality.
With new award-winnig and patent registered techniques they were able to record the first underwater surround recordings ever.

Ambient Recording supported the project from its very beginning and manufactured for example a customized A-Ray for the RS5 Surround System.

Since August 2010 Sonar Surround is a self-contained part of Ambient Recording GmbH. Together we enlarged our product range so we can now offer all you need for underwater sound recordings. Sound Examples
